I
am fascinated by food. Improvements in what you eat and in lifestyle you lead really can transform your life!

For me, this was all sparked by my own efforts to improve my health. It had led me down a path of true discovery and resulted, several years later, in a qualification in Nutritional Therapy and a passionate desire to help others discover the power of healthy eating.

I grew up eating what you’d probably describe as a typically western diet. For years I consumed food without really thinking about it. I ate food in the same way millions of people do across the UK - and then one day I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. I did what anyone else would do and spoke to a few doctors. They put me on a course of medicine that relieved the symptoms temporarily, but sure enough, before long, the condition returned. I wondered at that point whether it might have anything to do with my lifestyle and more importantly, my diet.

I started to research the effects different types of food can have on the body and I realised that the diet I’d grown up on was actually very inflammatory. I started to explore alternative food options and to my huge excitement (not to mention relief) I watched my Endometriosis symptoms start to disappear.

Ever since then I’ve been fascinated by the powerful effects diet can have to someone’s health. Today, it is a pure joy to work with people who, like me, weren’t getting anywhere with conventional medicine, but have now experienced transformational changes through improved nutrition.

There’s a massive misconception that ‘diet’ is principally geared towards losing weight, but improving your nutrition and lifestyle goes so much further than that. It can have so many positive effects on a huge variety of conditions like Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, PCOS, fibroids; from joint pain to skin rashes, headaches to cysts. I’m constantly amazed by the improvements people can make to a vast range of ailments, by changing their nutrition and lifestyle.
